Ceramides are the lipids that form the structural foundation of your skin barrier — they hold skin cells together like mortar, preventing moisture loss and keeping environmental aggressors out. The ceramides in the C5 are Glycosphingolipids: a natural-origin form derived from plant sources, belonging to the same lipid family as the ceramides your skin produces naturally. Because they are structurally identical to your skin's own ceramides, they integrate directly into the barrier rather than just sitting on top of it. Applied daily in a complexion product, they actively reinforce barrier integrity and moisture retention with every wear.

Choose the right brush
The ideal brush for the C5 is neither too dense nor too fluffy — something in between. A medium-density flat or slightly tapered complexion brush gives you the control to blend the formula smoothly without pilling it or dispersing it too thinly. A kabuki or buffing brush with medium density works perfectly.
Too dense = the formula moves without blending. Too fluffy = the pigment disperses unevenly. Medium density is the sweet spot.Swipe directly onto skin — then blend
Apply the stick directly to the areas you want to unify — cheeks, forehead, chin, around the nose. Two to three short swipes per zone is enough. Then use your brush in small circular motions to blend outward. The formula blends quickly — work one zone at a time.
Don't over-apply before blending. Less is more — you can always build.Build in thin layers
