Rosewood or Terracotta.
Two moods. One formula.
Both shades are built on the same nourishing L3 Complex base — what changes is only the mineral pigment ratio. The same comfort, the same wear, two completely different energies.
A dusty rose with warm berry undertones. Flatters fair to medium skin tones. Natural enough for daily wear, defined enough to make a statement.
A warm terracotta nude with a bronzed depth. Works across all skin tones — a "your lips but bolder" shade for medium to deep complexions, a statement colour on fair skin.
Both shades are identical in formula — only the mineral pigment ratio changes. Same nourishing base, same comfort, same wear time.
A matte finish that doesn't
feel like one.
The problem with matte lipsticks isn't the colour — it's what they do to your lips. Most matte formulas achieve their finish by stripping moisture, leaving lips dry, tight, and flaking by midday. The L3 Complex solves this at the formulation level: nourishing oils and butters are built into the formula so the finish is matte but the sensation never is.
The finish that compromises your lip barrier — and how the L3 Complex avoids it.
Velvety satin-matte —
not flat, not glossy. Exactly in between.
The L3 Complex delivers what most matte lipsticks promise but rarely achieve: a velvety, dimensional finish that photographs beautifully and wears comfortably.
Satin-matte — a soft sheen that gives dimension to the colour without reflecting light like a gloss. Lips look defined and deliberate.
Comfortable and non-drying throughout the day. Shea Butter and Blueberry Oil remain active under the film — lips stay soft, not tight.
Long-lasting with touch-up as needed. The plant wax structure holds the colour without the cracking or flaking common in drying matte formulas.
Key Actives
What makes the L3 Complex
a lip care product you wear.
Shea Butter — Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic)
The primary conditioning active. Organic Shea Butter is rich in oleic and stearic fatty acids that deeply nourish and soften lip skin — one of the thinnest and most fragile skin surfaces on the face. Applied daily in a lipstick, it actively conditions the lip barrier during wear, preventing the moisture loss that makes matte lipsticks uncomfortable. Its high melting point also contributes to the formula's structural stability without the need for synthetic film-formers.
Deep conditioning · Lip barrier · Organic · Structural stabilityBlueberry Seed Oil — Vaccinium Myrtillus (Organic)
An exceptional organic oil for lip care — rich in Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9 fatty acids in a near-ideal ratio for skin lipid replenishment. Blueberry Seed Oil also delivers a concentrated antioxidant profile from its naturally occurring anthocyanins and Vitamin C precursors, protecting lip skin from oxidative stress throughout the day. Its lightweight texture absorbs quickly without disrupting the matte finish of the formula.
Omega 3-6-9 · Antioxidant · Organic · LightweightRice Bran Oil + Rice Bran Wax — Oryza Sativa
A dual rice bran system that does two things simultaneously. The Rice Bran Oil — high in gamma-oryzanol and Vitamin E precursors — provides additional antioxidant protection and soothing properties. The Rice Bran Wax creates the breathable matte structure without the stiffness or drag associated with traditional carnauba or synthetic polymer formulas. Together they form the backbone of the L3 Complex's comfortable wear experience.
Antioxidant · Matte structure · Breathable · Comfortable wearStevia Rebaudiana Extract — The Unexpected Active
One of the most unusual ingredients in this formula — and one of the most thoughtful. Stevia Extract is a natural humectant that draws moisture toward the lip surface, directly counteracting the dehydrating tendency of matte formulas. It also contributes the faint natural sweetness in the formula's sensory profile — without any sugar, artificial sweeteners, or additives. Its presence is a deliberate formulation choice for comfort, not marketing.

Two naturally derived antioxidants working together. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) protects the formula's plant oils from oxidation, extending shelf stability without synthetic preservatives. Ascorbyl Palmitate — the oil-soluble form of Vitamin C — adds antioxidant protection directly on the lip surface during wear. Both also contribute to the formula's skin-beneficial profile on a surface that, unlike the rest of the face, regularly comes into contact with food and drink.

No synthetic dyes. No coal-tar derivatives. The colour in the L3 Complex comes entirely from mineral pigments — Iron Oxides for the warm earthy and rosy tones, Titanium Dioxide for opacity and brightness, Tin Oxide and Mica for the subtle luminosity in the satin-matte finish. The "+/-" notation in the INCI list simply means the ratio varies between Rosewood and Terracotta — the base formula is identical in both shades.

The technique for a perfect
matte line every time.
Prep your lip surface
For the smoothest matte application, start with clean, lightly exfoliated lips. A dry lip surface with any loose skin will catch the formula unevenly — matte finishes show texture more than glosses. A quick gentle exfoliation followed by a thin layer of balm (removed before application) creates the ideal canvas.
If you're doing a full face, apply the lipstick last — after your concealer if you're using it around the lip line.Define the cupid's bow first
Start at the centre of the upper lip — the cupid's bow — and work outward toward the corners. This gives you the most control over the shape. Then apply to the lower lip from corner to corner. The formula is buildable but sets relatively quickly — work one section at a time.
Press lips together — don't rub
After applying to both lips, press them gently together once. This distributes the formula evenly and gives a more natural, lived-in finish. Rubbing moves the product unevenly and disrupts the setting process.
For a sharper, more defined edge: use a small concealer brush dipped in concealer to clean up the lip line after the formula sets.Let it set — 60 seconds
The formula sets to its final matte state within 60 seconds of application. Avoid eating or drinking during this window. Once set, the wear is significantly more resistant to transfer.

The L3 Complex has a warm vanilla-citrus aromatic character. Here is exactly where it comes from.
The scent in the L3 Complex formula comes from Parfum (a natural aromatic blend), Vanillin (the natural vanilla aromatic compound), and Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange) Peel Oil — all plant-derived sources. Limonene is naturally present in the Bitter Orange oil and is declared on the INCI list in compliance with EU cosmetic allergen regulations.
If you have a known sensitivity to citrus botanicals or Limonene, we recommend a patch test before full use. The warm vanilla note from Vanillin is not a synthetic flavouring — it is a naturally occurring aromatic compound present in many plant sources, here derived from natural origin ingredients.
